Awuraba Foundation collaborated with Erudite Women Empowerment Foundation and provided sanitary pads to 150 JHS Girls during the International Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration at Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) – Konongo on 28th May, 2024.
The Awuraba Foundation has launched the “EasyMens Project” which seeks to provide girls with accessible and affordable sanitary solutions, ensuring uninterrupted education.
On November 11th & 12th, Awuraba Foundation initiated the first phase of its innovative “EasyMens project” in some of the selected schools within the Asante Akim Central Municipality, Ashanti Region. This groundbreaking initiative aims to address the pressing issue of menstrual-related absenteeism, stigma and school dropouts.
The initial phase commenced in Patriensa M/A JHS respectively with a comprehensive survey to access the needs of beneficiaries.

Awuraba Foundation collaborated with Ghana Education Service (GES) -Konongo on 11th October, 2024, celebrated the International Girl Child Day.
The event aimed to empower young girls and inspire them to take up leadership roles in their communities and beyond. About 621 students were in attendance of this memorable event.
